Sasha Williams was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in lower Westchester. Sasha did not receive formal training from an art school, nor does she consider herself to be a self-taught artist. Sasha believes her artisrty is a gift from God, a gift that was apparent when she began drawing at the age of 5. Inspired by her culturally rich family, Sasha's interest in life, people, and their diversity are portrayed in her art. Sasha envelopes her Caribbean and African American culture with passionate expression in her work. Sasha specializes in charcoal and pastel drawings. However, she also does work with acrylics, and black and white photography. In addition to her originals, Sasha also specializes in creating custom drawings and portraits. 

Sasha Williams has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Kennesaw State University. She is currently an educator in the Atlanta Metro area, where her focus is to help children maximize their potential to become educated contributors to society in all arenas. Sasha created Sasha Art Studio, with which she would like to continue being an inspiration through her work and later help young artists and aspiring entrepreneurs pursue and attain their dreams.
